Felix Adamowitsch

Felix Emanuel Adamowitsch (20 November 1919 – 10 February 2013)〔''St. Kolomaner Gemeindenachrichten'' Folge 1, March 2013〕 was a Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht during World War II and Oberst in the Bundeswehr. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Adamowitsch joined the postwar Bundeswehr in 1957 retiring in 1979 as an Oberst.
